About Me *
Hey, I´m Csenge. I´m a documentary-style photographer from Finland, currently based in Budapest and travelling across Europe documenting people, places and the stories that connect them.
In July 2026 I left my full-time job as a shift manager at McDonald´s to pursue photography full-time. It was a leap into the unknown, driven by one simple belief: life is too short to not build a career around what inspires you.
I have loved creating for as long as I can remember. As a child, I explored every kind of art I could fine, but photography became the one that truly stayed with me. Today it is both my passion and my profession.
Ironically, my journey began on the other side of the camera. As a teenager I tried modelling, an experience that left me feeling self-conscious and disconnected from cameras for years. Everything changed when I received my first camera as a birthday present. I started taking self-portraits to learn how the camera worked, but somewhere along the way photography helped me rebuild my confidence too.
That is why my sessions aren´t about trying to become someone else for the camera.
They are about creating space to slow down, be present and see yourself with fresh eyes.
Whether I am photographing a couple wandering through unfamiliar streets, an artist preparing for a show, a family celebrating a milestone or a growing business, my goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel honest, timeless and deeply personal.
No matter what social media says, I don´t believe there are “photogenic” and “not photogenic people”.
I believe everyone deserves to be seen.
